Game Making for 3D and Virtual Reality


Learn to code using professional* game engines Unity and Unreal. Participants will learn principles of game design, workflow and levels. Object control, game physics, camera use and 360 degree photos will be taught. Game creation fundamentals will be taught along with C# coding, character control and more. Participants will work in teams and individually to design multi level games. Problem solving, art creation, 3D modeling and more! 

 Participants will need to create their own Unity and Unreal accounts.  Every student will need their own laptop, so please indicate on the application if you have one you could use.   This class is recommended for incoming 7th -10th graders, ages 12-15.  This class is taught by David Yale, MA (credentialed physics teacher and robotics enthusiast).

The class is $350 per student.  Limited scholarships are available.  If your student receives a free/reduced lunch they are eligible for a scholarship. You need to bring in a copy of the lunch form with this registration form Scholarship Form to the office with the payment of $50.00 (or by mail).  The check should be made out to Santa Barbara Education Foundation.
