Dos Pueblos teacher Bethany Bodenhamer has been appointed as the interim Dean of Student Engagement at Dos Pueblos High School. Her first day in the role is January 21, 2020.
Bodenhamer joined Santa Barbara Unified in 2008 as a Social Studies and English teacher at Dos Pueblos and has enjoyed serving in a variety of teaching roles including all levels of Social Studies courses, multiple English courses, and in the Academy for Student Success program. She has spent the last three years serving as a Government and Economics teacher and Literacy and Instructional Coach.
“I consider it an honor and privilege to serve the Dos Pueblos community in this role,” Bodenhamer said. “I look forward to supporting students, families, and staff in building and maintaining strong relationships between all stakeholders to ensure student success. It is my goal for all students on our campus to truly feel that they are seen, cared for, and known.”
